Program Sequence
Travel west from Marsa Alam in an air-conditioned vehicle before crossing the eastern desert to reach the Nile Valley. Arriving in Luxor, visit the Karnak Temple on the East Bank (Great Hypostyle Hall, Hatshepsut Obelisk, Thutmose Obelisk, Sacred Lake). Afterwards, have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
After lunch, embark on a Nile cruise that ends on the west bank of the Nile. Then continue the excursion program to Theben-West (Luxor). Admire the famous Colossi of Momnon that stood at the entrance to the Temple of Amenhotep III. Then head to the Valley of the Kings, where there are more than 70 rock tombs. There you will see the three most beautiful tombs. For an additional fee, you can visit the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Finally, visit the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut.
