Program Sequence
Our guide will escort you from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Hurghada Airport by air-conditioned vehicle. From there, take a domestic flight to Cairo. There you will be welcomed by a English-speaking Egyptologist who will accompany you throughout the tour.
1st.Day
The tour begins in the first capital of Egypt, the city of Memphis, 25 km south of Cairo. See the Alabaster Sphinx and the colossal statue of Ramses II. Then visit the Saqqara Necropolis. There is the most famous and oldest pyramid in Egypt, the step pyramid of King Djoser and the museum of the master builder of the step pyramid, Imhotep. Afterwards you continue to lunch in a local restaurant, which is characterized by high quality service, cleanliness, hygiene and delicious specialties.
After lunch, visit one of the seven wonders of the world, the famous Pyramid of Cheops and the Pyramids of Chephren and Menkaure. Experience fantastic views from the plateau and visit the Great Sphinx of Giza. Before checking into your 5-star hotel, visit the Valley Temple of Chephren. Before dinner you will have the opportunity to admire the sound and light show at the pyramids. End the day with a relaxing stay at your hotel.
2nd.Day
After breakfast you leave the hotel. In Cairo you drive to the east bank of the Nile. There you first visit the citadel of Saladin with the alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. From the citadel you have a very nice view over the whole of Cairo. Then it's on to the Egyptian National Museum, one of the largest museums in the world. Marvel at pharaonic treasures such as grave goods and jewellery. See Tutankhamen's pot of gold, as well as the mask and coffin. After that, have lunch.
In the old town of Cairo you will visit the Al-Azhar Mosque (972 AD) and El Moaz Street (founder of the city of Cairo 969 AD), the oldest street in the city. A visit to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar in Old Cairo and a photo stop in the Dead City complete the day. Afterwards, drive to Cairo Airport, from where you will fly to Hurghada. There our guide will meet you and accompany you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam.

Cancellation Policy
- A free cancellation is possible up to 4 days before the start of the trip. After that we charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the travel price.
Transfer Costs
- Transfer costs (hotel pick-up and drop-off) are included in the price.
- For more distant hotels and regions, there is a small surcharge of $5 to $10 per person.
