Program Sequence
In an air-conditioned vehicle you will first travel south to Safaga. From there they cross the eastern desert to reach the Nile Valley. Arrived in Luxor, visit the Karnak Temple on the east bank (Great Hypostyle Hall, Hatshepsut Obelisk, Thutmosis Obelisk, Holy Lake). Then have lunch at one of the local restaurants.
After lunch, take a Nile River cruise that ends on the west bank of the Nile. You then continue your excursion program in Theben-West (Luxor). Marvel at the famous Colossi of Memnon that stood at the entrance to the Temple of Amenhotep III. Then drive to the Valley of the Kings, home to over 70 tombs carved into the rock. You will see three of the most beautiful tombs there. For an additional fee you have the opportunity to visit the tombs of Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Finally, visit the terraced temple complex of Hatshepsut.
